Report9 : For a person who hardly loses his calm, it was a rather rare sight to find an infuriated Tweet from Sachin Tendulkar. The little master’s hot temper was a result of his bad experience with British Airways.

Sachin was held up at the London airport due to British Airways’ “don’t care attitude” and “tagging his luggage to the wrong destination.”

The Airline Twitter handle then responded with an apology and asked Tendulkar for his baggage reference, full name and address, this is where Twitter lost its sense of proportion and took on British Airways using the hashtag #NeveronBA which Tendulkar had used in his tweets. In just a matter of minutes, the hashtag was trending in India.

Take a look at how Twitter reacted:

Last year tennis superstar Maria Sharapova had received similar outrage following her comments that she had no idea who Tendulkar was. ‘Who is Maria Sharapova’ had top trended in Twitter within hours.

Sachin Tendulkar, 42, is currently in the United States playing in the Cricket All-Stars series along with other all-time greats from different countries. He remains the world’s highest run-getter and the country’s favourite sportsman.
